The IFReF is a not for profit organization started by group of experts in the field of reproductive medicine with just one ideology and one big dream, i.e. to augment research into this relatively new field and to promote an evidence based approach to the management of infertility among infertility specialists. These are our ideals, our values and our core driving strength. The IFReF through its members ultimately seeks to change the way medical management of infertility is being done in our country, by promoting an empathic, ethical and evidence based approach towards patient care.




Who can Join Us

The IFReF is a specialized organization of Reproductive Medicine ants, Embryologists, Andrologists and Psychologists teeming with both international and national experts in the field.

We at the IFReF do not discriminate between medical and non medical experts in the field. If you have an interest and/or passionate about infertility, you are most welcome to join. Write to us at inferef@gmail.com.





What we do

The IFReF frequently conducts highly interactive CME's for its members four times in a year. Topics are usually covered from a broad range of specialities that are relevant to the field with talks and discussions panelled by experts. Look at this space for a schedule of upcoming events.

Registration for all events is free but compulsory.

Membership Fee

Being a not for profit organization, we charge members a very nominal Rs 1000/year membership fee.
This fee is capped as a onetime payment of Rs 1000/- for the first 100 members of our society who will also be called henceforth as life members of the IFReF. No yearly renewal charges applies to life members of the society. Life members of the society will hold office positions on a rotational term fixed at 4 years per post.

Into the Future

All decisions at the IFReF are taken after due consultation with each and every member. Over the last two meetings, members of the IFReF have come to the following consensus about the IFReF's future activities. Minutes of our meeting is summarized below.
1. The need to reach out to new members is identified. Our current strength is 40
2. To appoint and fill the post of a joint treasurer and joint secretary
3. To embark on a short clinical/molecular research project
4. To implement and start a Blog page for the IFReF
5. To design our society E-Journal
6. Community outreach programs which will benefit patients directly
7. To provide free lance consultations to patients through email or at our registered office
8. To tie up with prospective IVF centres for research/educational activities
